How to receive money?

Please specify the country of origin, the full name of the sender, the expected amount and the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN).

Present your valid ID to the operator

The operator will check the transfer availability and will print out the receiving money form for you to sign it. Once you sign the form, the money will be paid out.

Receiving money from abroad

A money transfer sent to you through Western Union can be picked up at the nearest post office or at an exchange office or another retailer within TENFORE network. In order to receive a money transfer, no bank account is needed.
At post offices, money is paid out in dinars only, while in exchange offices you can choose to pick up your money in euros or dinars. Money transfer fee is always paid by the sender only.

Sending money from Serbia

Sending money from Serbia is quite simple - your money will be sent to your Receiver within minutes anywhere in the world. To send money, neither the Receiver nor the Sender need to have a bank account.

Money can be sent from the nearest post office location as well as from exchange offices and other retailers anywhere in Serbia to more than 200 countries and territories throughout the world. Limit for 30-days period for sending money per person is 1,100,000 dinars (RSD), while the limit per transaction is 700,000 dinars (RSD).

Money is sent in dinars only, while the Receiver will pick up the money in the currency available for pay out in the destination country. Money transfer fee is always paid by the Sender.

When the transfer has been completed, the clerk will give you a verified copy of the form with a 10 digit Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN), of which you should, along with other information, notify the recipient.

Step 1. – Create your user account

Visit wuonline.rs and register. Before your first online transfer, you will recieve an email with link that will start the video identification process.

Step 2. - Identification

Before you send money online for the first time, you must identify yourself. Identification is possible through video identification or at one of the TENFORE location where we can identify you.

After that your account will be activated and you will be able to send money online 24/7.

Sending money within Serbia

In addition to sending money abroad, Western Union also provides money transfers within the borders of Serbia. The service is available at all TENFORE locations which provide Western Union service, including all locations of Serbian Post Office. Sending money via WU INTRA money transfer is available only in loacal currency, Serbian dinars.

Telephone notification – 250 RSD (service is not available for sending to Serbia; on request service is available and free for sending to Chile and Vietnam).
Home delivery – is charged according to pricelist applicable in the receiving country. This service is available in a limited number of countries.
